Flesh and Blood has had its ups and downs ever since debuting at the shop in 2021. The inspiration (and persuasion) of Jon Valle got the game on the shelf, and Armory events soon followed. A player base formed and slowly grew, but was never able to have a consistent foundation of players that showed weekly. As a result the weekly event became bi-weekly in an attempt to make it easier for players to commit and attendance be enough for the event to fire.
As time went on, players came and went. We were able to host prereleases, but nothing outside of that. The player base remained stable but fragile. Soon the original players either moved away or moved on to other games, and it looked like FAB's run was coming to an end. That is, until there was a resurgence with new players who brought new life as well as other new players. This new group quickly gelled, and Armory quickly returned to weekly events. Moving into our new location also garnered some new attention, as Legend Story Studios selected us to be a part of Skirmish Season 8 in December 2023. It was great for our home players to get a shot at some high end promos from the Skirmish without having to travel far.
FAB has shown consistent attendance in 2024 which has earned us another Skirmish invite for Season 9 this September! In another milestone, we hosted our 100th Organized Play tournament this past June. With the prerelease for Rosetta just around the corner, there is plenty of upcoming Flesh and Blood action for you to be a part of!
